Our leadership team
Organizations rise and fall with leadership. Our leaders have led us through 12 years. We think that says a lot.
Gary Lee
director of operations
Producing exceptional products and services in an imaginative way has been a part of Gary's work ethic from his early days as an apprentice.
Gary founded Performance Electric and Design, Inc. on the principles of providing creative solutions for clients even if the job didn't require him to. He has even created some of his own hand tools to cater to this unique approach.
This tenured electrician, foreman, general foreman, estimator, designer, and project manager has led his team down the same steps he has taken to provide a superior service for his clients, and ultimately, the end user.
Gary graduated from The Top-Rated National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the electrical industry in 1975. Gary is currently State Certified as an Electrical Contractor in multiple states. Because of his unique approach and his years of experience in certain fields like DC Power, clients have flown him cross country to fix emergencies and install.

Pam Lee
office manager
Over the years Pam has worn many hats - from accounting and finance, to HR, to office manager. Her ability to handle multiple tasks came from her office administration days for larger companies. When Gary decided to step out on his own 20 years ago, she was able to compliment the other components Performance needed to run.
Today, she manages the office and works closely with the project management team to ensure that proper cost control measures are consistent.

MASTER ELECTRICIAN
After graduating high school in 2004, Pat had no idea what he wanted to do. A friend pointed him in the direction of Performance Electric and he has been with them ever since. With a very limited idea of what an electrician actually did, Pat began his journey with Performance Electric digging ditches, crawling through attics, doing anything he was needed to do.
Over the years, Pat was given more and more responsibility and grew in his experience. He learned how to install electrical systems as well as manage and lead crews. In 2009, Pat earned his Journeyman/wireman card and moved into a foreman position.
In 2014, Pat moved into the office as part of the management team by being promoted to Field Superintendent, overseeing all the day to day activities for all field personnel. He is a Master Electrician.

Master Electrician
Dating back to when he was making pizzas, Shane has developed a habit of being in competition with himself. He's always trying to get better at everything he does. Shane started working with Performance Electric in 2006, digging ditches. When overhearing two electricians discussing specifics of a job, in what could only be understood as Greek, Shane knew an electrician was exactly what he wanted to be.
His enthusiasm couldn't be fed fast enough. He really loved putting electrical equipment together and making it perfect.
Shortly after obtaining his Masters in 2012, Shane was promoted to Project Manager/ Estimator where the rubber really hit the road for him.
"There's nothing more I would rather do than design an electrical system,' says Shane, 'install that same system (this is where the true art form comes in) and admire the end result."
